SAME's Sacramento Post Participates in the Sacramento County Sheriff's Joint Disaster Drill, Lake Natomas, Sacramento, CA, August 2003

The purpose of the Sacramento Post Readiness Plan is to assist federal, state and local governments in recovery from natural and man-made disasters/emergencies and to support the United States in the event of a rapid mobilization for war.

The post can be a positive mitigating force in emergencies. It can assist during and after natural disasters or industrial emergencies. The resources of SAME can be an important part of our national preparedness.
