The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Sacramento Post is hosting a timely conference
to learn about the challenges and business opportunities associated with California’s complex
water and flood risk management issues. This conference will consist of plenary sessions with
policy and technical breakout workshops, Business Exhibit Faire, and Ice Breaker event.
Speakers will include elected officials, federal, state and local water agencies, academia and industry leaders, including USACE, FEMA, and California Department of Water Resources. Speakers scheduled to appear include:

- Mr. Rock Salt, Principal Deputy, Assistant Secretary of the Army (Civil Works)
- Mr. Don Glaser, Mid-Pacific Regional Director, Bureau of Reclamation

- Mr. Doug Bellomo, Director, FEMA Risk Analysis Division
- COL(P) Rock Donahue, Commander, South Pacific Division, US Army Corps of Engineers

Conference Registration Includes:
- Admission to the 2009 California Water Conference on October 27 -28;

- Entrance to the Ice Breaker Event to be held on the evening of October 26. Additional Ice Breaker tickets can be purchased for $60; and
- Conference Program.
The 2009 California Water Conference will provide opportunities for conference sponsorship, exhibit space and advertising in the Conference Program. These opportunities and individual conference registration will be handled only through online registration accessed through the Sacramento Post website.

| Registrations cancelled prior to September 30, 2009 will be fully reimbursed minus
a Cancellation Fee of $100. Cancellations after September 30, 2009 will not be refunded. Substitution of registered participants may be made until October 15th, 2009. Cancellation of hotel rooms must be made directly through the Radisson Hotel and are subject to Radisson cancellation policy.
